Chel shivered.  She pulled her blanket up to her neck, taking a moment to glance around the room.  She was the only one there.  'It was so real,… I've always hated dreams like that,… not quite a nightmare, but I wake up shaking and sweating like I was really there.'  Chel looked around the room again.  Nothing moved.  She half expected Lexx to step out of the shadows. 'Poor Lexx,.. it was only a dream, but the reality of,.. some of that is still there.  In a dream, I can do whatever,.. but in real life?  I can't do anything to help Lexx."  She frowned, twisting her fingers up in the fabric of the blanket. 'Well,… unless I really do have a sword I know how to use, but what are the chances of that?  I'm also not that great with them.  I do good not to cut myself in practice with Dad… and that's with a wooden sword.  I've never held a real sword.' Chel frowned, 'Besides, I imagine they have laser guns or vaporizers.  It's all so much bigger than me.'  The game was something she was still having problems dealing with.  It was so wrong.  And Lexx's world was so much more complicated than her own. Chel's life and problems paled in comparison to Lexx's.  She just had to worry about her class schedule next fall.  He had to worry about surviving the next month and being free to worry about real life.  A feeling of overwhelming sadness settled on Chel's shoulders.
