Riley moved off of Lexx to let get back up, hoping he would talk now.  It always took some prodding when Lexx was like this. "You didn't see the look on her face."  Lexx stared into the darkness, speaking more to it than Riley.  "She was horrified… at me.  I wanted to die.  I froze up.  I didn't know what to do."  Lexx rolled over and sat up.  "It hurt.  It hurt more than any physical pain I've ever felt, because she thinks I'm some monster who purposely put a machine in her head." Chel listened curiously.  She was really starting to feel bad about how Lexx was guilty for listening in.  "She's not going to talk to me again, Riley.  I didn't do anything to her.  I never would,… it's all Stealth's fault."  Lexx scowled, "I hate her so much I… I don't even want to think of the things I want to do to that little beast for what she did to Chel."  He paused and added quietly, "What am I supposed to do, Riley?" "Well… you can stop cutting yourself to begin with, then-"  Riley immediately started in on his advice and at that point, Chel decided she didn't want to eavesdrop any longer.
