A clatter of claws on the stone floor made Trasik glance toward the only opening into the room. The guards were saying something outside and then a large four legged creature with a drab grey-brown fur scrambled into the room, almost losing his footing. It managed to catch itself and slid to a stop beside Trasik, panting through a wide open beak, “Mistress Trasik! Mistress Trasik.” It gasped, then tried to settle into a more reasonable voice.
“Yes, Keili?” Trasik rolled her eyes and waved a hand letting the creature know it could continue.

That die’s color scheme creeps me out. I wouldn’t want to meet it in a dark ally. Incidentally that die’s probably going to tattle about the rescue team. 🙁

Be patient, Chel. The bigger, eviler, stronger, faster, more technologically advanced they are… the sweeter it is to think evil things about them behind their backs. Muahahaha!
And somehow, I get the feeling Lexx…. is going to find out what’s going on when he has to go save Riley.
