“I will return shortly.” Trasik turned stiffly and waved at Chel like she was a dog. “Stay here, Human.”
Chel scowled. Caillem shook her head and remained sitting.
“Are you going to help me get out of here or not?” Chel waited for Trasik’s quick footsteps to fade before getting out of her chair and looking the room over. She had not heard the guards leave, so knew that way was out.
“I’m sorry, I can’t do anything to help you.” Caillem sighed and tapped her claw tips on the floor. Chel walked to the window and stared at the training room. The rishan trainer was knocking Karmine off her feet repeatedly. Jayne and Tayne were fidgeting where they were sitting. Chel glanced around the room. There was no way out that she could see.
Caillem suddenly shifted to her feet, tail swishing slowly behind her as she nudged Chel’s hand toward the wall on the far side of the room. “And I really don’t need to. I think Riley is here.”
Chel looked to the wall questioningly, then heard a scraping sound on the other side. It suddenly shifted and a puff of dust burst into the air from the newly opened crack.

I LOVE the new layout. It is much easier on the eyes. I am sorry to hear AD may end up going on Hiatus, but I can understand why.

O.O Could it be that Riley’s over-simple plan is actually working!? I’m having a hard time deciding if I would be happy if it did or not. (I kinda want Chel to be able to save the young’ens too. 🙁 )
