“Can’t I stay with Lexx?” Chel persisted rising to her feet and giving Riley a pleading look. “I won’t be in the way.”
“The doctors have to work to do what you likely don’t want to see.” Vic spoke before Riley could. He glanced at Lexx. It was horrifying for Vic, having a full sense of just how strong and powerful Lexx was, to see him laying there and knowing his own daughter cared for him tempered his manner to act delicately with her.
“Indeed.” Kade nodded slowly, then fixed Riley with an annoyed glare, “And we need to talk.”

Vic’s a bit shaken up by both seeing how bad off Lexx is and by Lexx’ declaration of love.

Kade needs to talk to Chel or Riley? I’m confused… And how come everyone’s acting normal about the fact that Chel thinks she killed Trasik who is Riley’s sister and Kade’s daughter? I know it wasn’t Trasik, and so does Riley and probably Kade, but Chel doesn’t know that. You’d think she’d be a little awkward around the Lanier’s considering that fact…

Riley’s going to get a talking to at the bare minimum.
I think Chel is also shaken up by Lexx’ injuries and condition. So she’s not thinking clearly.

Chel is stronger than you think — and she has seen blood before — I think she could take whatever they are going to do with Lexx by his side without messing up the floor.
