Day 24 Part 4 Page 7

Vic wrapped one arm over Chel’s shoulders protectively as they once again found themselves in the overly cheery and inappropriate waiting room.  Riley and Kade were talking amongst themselves about the situation. “Riley, where is your sister?”  Kade suddenly stepped walking and turned to his son. “I have no idea, Father.”  Riley shrugged and tossed his arms into the air. Chel shuddered, her face screwing up with an outpouring of emotion as she burbled out, “I killed her!!” Both Kade and Riley looked back at her with sympathy written on their faces, but Kade’s was tinged by a little more anger directed at Riley, “You didn’t tell her?” Riley grimaced in answer.  Of course he hadn’t.  Hearing his father was nearby had necessitated a call to him first to let him know that Trasik had not been killed.  What Chel needed had been pushed completely out of his mind.

  1. I KNEW IT! THe eyes were the giveaway: it was one of those robot assassins that can mimic people!!!

But if one of those replaced Trasik, where is she?

    Evil fricken ADC.

  2. Whoopsie daisy!

Heeeeey. Does this mean Lexx’s challenge is invalid?

  3. Aww Hellz. The silver lining for me in all this was that the harpy was dead. Bugger.

  4. lol nice woops srry chel i completly forgot to tell ya that shes still alive thereby making ya be in agony over this for a longer period than needed

  5. Oh come on seriously?!!

    1. Yes. Seriously.

I’m reasonably sure that Tiff didn’t plan this until recently though. So it wasn’t planned from the beginning.

Poor Chel. She’s gonna be so angry in just a minute. And she’s going to be relieved too.

      1. …and now she’s going to cry. I know I would; too many conflicting emotions all so close together. Laughing and crying are the most effective methods of releasing tension, and laughing is not an option for Chel right now.

  6. Plot twist is being revealed to someone. And what a twist it is.

  7. riley you gona regret not telling right away

  8. Out of the fire and back onto the frying pan. 🙂

  9. So Trasik really IS alive? But … but … I was enjoying the knowledge that Lexx’s suffering at her hands was finally at and end.
Tiff, you’re a wicked, mean person.

I like how you gone done it. ^_^

  10. I think the real question is: How long ago was Trasik “replaced”?
Maybe the ADC switched Trasik force another confrontation with Lexx. Or maybe Trasik never played Alien Dice and the fake Trasik was an attempt to stop Lexx from the very beginning. Or maybe Trasik is still the polite little Littan that Lessa (Lexx’s mom) met before she remarried and Trasik’s disposition suddenly changed.

  11. When Chel finds out Riley has ‘forgotten’ to tell her this little detail, she will probably make him walk the plank
    … on his own ship
    … from orbit

FYI, he also failed to mention that the last words robo-Trasik whispered into his ear were “Ah’ll be bahk”. (She unfortunately did not have time to put on her sunglasses before telling him.)

  12. A move planned to weaken Lexx before the impending Gauntlet, no less. Someone’s afraid Lexx’ll likely survive the Gauntlet, and their wager against him, and this was their “insurance policy”. At least that’s my thought.

  13. Yeah, that’s something she should know. After all, seeing as Trask is still alive and all.

  14. Am reading through the archives now; Trasik was probably replaced way back in the second week or so, comics timeline (in real life, back in September or October 2005). I’m a little fuzzy on the comic timeline then, but it was pretty early.

  15. I can’t even say how relieved I am that Trasik ISN’T dead. I think the shock would be simply too much for Chel to handle.

Which means. . . . Lexx will have to face her again, and he will have to kill her.

  16. At least that means the challenge was invalid and Lexx doesn’t belong to anyone.
