Sirius blinked his great blue eyes in astonishment. “What do you mean ‘not alone’, Stealth?”
“There are two Lexx’s.” Stealth began explaining. “The one we know and a dark Lexx that is not him. There is also a soul echo who’s trying to help him. Lexx is not aware of either. Sirius and Serenity stared at Stealth, perplexed by the new information.

but.. he is aware.. in the early comics he battles Dark Lex, and more recently, the ghost revealed itself.

I think this is one of those times that Stealth is a little misinformed. I imagine that part of it is how unaware Lexx seems to be about his dark half’s influence, and partly because Stealth hasn’t seen Lexx and the Echo interact (and, to be far, vice versa), and it doesn’t seem like something the Echo would mention, and lastly, I imagine Echo talks a lot about dark-side’s plans and actions, which might build up Stealth’s impression of what that figment is capable of.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure we all knew that. And I think Lexx did. This is just for the other dice’ benefit.

um… I think it is portrayed that Lexx believes that everything inside his brain is him, that he is merely arguing with himself or talking to himself, dealing with normal conflicts and doubts of his own mind. He is unaware that these ‘figments’ are of external origin.

Well, she’s been in his relay for 3 whole games, plus down time, and she has hung out with the ghost echo, and she’s probably been in relay when dark Lexx kicked in while Lexx was asleep (note that she’s jumped into his relay twice when he’s been having nightmares, and I doubt that’s a recent occurrence), if not when he was awake.

That’s the problem with this comic. There are so many plot twists that the reader gets caught in a maze instead of a winding road. It’s hard to look back and see (remember) what happened leading up to this point. @_@
