Day 25 Part 1 Page 5

“After Lexx is better.” Chel quickly added. “He can come with us.” Vic nodded slowly, choosing his words carefully. “Home?” Chel looked at her father hopefully. “Not exactly.” The words came slow and thick. Vic didn’t want to promise his daughter too much more than he knew he could control and did not want her to get the wrong idea. “When we get home, we want him to stay in a facility where we can keep track of him.” The look that Vic expected flashed through Chel’s eyes and her mouth dropped open as though he had said the most horrifying thing that could possibly have been uttered.

  1. I see this totally going south

    1. South barely describes this.

    2. Do you hear penguins? 😀

      1. no but I see them

        1. Sarge, Kowalski Rico and Private are with them.

Yeah this is going all kinds of bad. One prison to another Lexx’s answer will be no.

        2. Wouldn’t they be on Chel’s side?

  2. She look like Hayao Miyazaki’s Nausicaa

  3. Well, techincally there is no “South” in space, but I know what you mean. 😉

  4. I can hardly wait for her to inform Dad that, gee, Lexx has a perfectly nice spaceship we can live on, and you can visit your grandkids there!

    1. XD I don’t know if she’d have the guts to say that, but I’d love to hear her say that to him!

  5. also good luck trying to get lexx in that facility

  6. what the – ?
    WRONG THING TO SAY VIC!

    1. Fortunately, Serenity has arrived and she’s either going to calm Chel down or royally chew Vic out for suggesting something so insensitive.

Either way, Vic should get a clue that offer someone who was a former slave a gilded cage is a little gauche. And by a little gauche I mean far worse.

    2. At least he’s being completely open about it. That’s…really the only good thing about what he said.

  7. Just when I thought Vic had it right…. Lexx in a cage? I think Chel is not going to let that happen. And neither will Lexx’s Mum. Or brothers or friends, or his dice for that matter!

  8. “Facility” is one of those ugly words you never want to hear in a sentence with your loved ones’ names.

  9. Good way to get your daughter to hate you, Vic. Does he honestly think she’s just going to let him do that, never mind his friends and dice? Really now.

  10. I thought Vic was intelligent? This goes well beyond Open mouth, insert Foot
