“We’re moving away from the planet now.” Chel changed the subject, resting her chin on the palm of her hand and looking out at the stars that seemed to be slowly moving through the massive garden windows. “I wonder where we’re going.”
“I’m sure they’ll let us know soon.” Vic turned to look as well.
“I want to go home.” Chel stated quietly.
“Good.” Vic smiled.
Neither of them noticed as Sirius and Serenity entered the nook and quietly walked toward them, not wanting to interrupt their conversation.
