“I don’t have anything at all then.” Lexx grumbled. “I don’t know who I am outside the game.” “Be yourself.” Chel shrugged. Hadn’t he been himself before? She couldn’t understand why he was having a problem with his identity now and had forgotten that she was talking to a dreaming self. “Lexx, you are so much more than you think you are.” Chel wrapped her arms around Lexx from behind and hugged him tightly. “You’re smart, you’re kind and passionate. You’re stubborn, creative and protective. You also have a bit of a temper, question everything you do to much and… for all your intelligence you’re a little dense.” Chel said gently. “You’re human.” Lexx smiled, suddenly feeling better about himself at Chel’s words of acceptance. They meant more to him than Chel would ever truly know.
Next week's comics are COMPLETE, including text. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas! Now to get to the end of the year and survive January. I'd love to see my meter bar hit 100% this month. It'd take a lot of pressure off me while trying to enjoy the holidays with family I don't see often. - Tiff

    lol ^_^ I love that list of traits that all humans have (in varying degrees). How God puts up with us only this holiday and Easter can tell.

    but yes. Perhaps after living his life with whatever species identity he might have had (having been derived from humans), to be called human probably means the universe to him.

    @ tiff Does Chel actually *know* that he is human, or is it just an expression. I remember finding out, but I don’t remember Chel finding out.
