This week... was also meant to be a five day week. :( Unfortunately, my laptop problems culminated in laptop overheating, shutting down without warning and losing work. I contacted HP Support today (Sunday) and after several hours of running various diagnostics found two things.. 1.. my laptop battery is DEAD. :D No surprise. It is over two years old. Second, over 12.5 gigs of temporary files. :D Cleaned it up, blew a huge cloud of dust out of the fan and the laptop SEEMS to have recovered, so I will try again next week... but right now.. it's 9:40PM and my eyes are twitching and I know they shouldn't be doing that.
Monday, my hubby and Kim are home for MLK day. Friday, I'm likely going to be down in Dallas with Kim for a behavioral evaluation. I am STILL going to work toward a full week of updates.

Yes, I know such dust explosions out of laptop fans. My neighbours (both are smokers) had a similar experience last year. Luckily (for them) they own a small air compressor 😉 .

I found that completely draining the battery is a good way to restore some battery life, but it takes a while and sometimes causes problems with the battery meter, but it does seem to work, my laptop is from 2008 and for a while it would only last about 5 minutes. I managed to get it back up to about an hour (about 25 to 30% capacity up from about 12%) but it usually takes a full day or two to completely drain it. Just because the comp shuts off doesn’t mean it’s drained.

It’s with the UT Southwestern research center affiliated with Children’s hospital of Dallas. We try to stay in the network with Children’s so they have access to all of her records.

Woot! Caught up finally…. well I dunno if that’s really a good thing.. now I have to wait for updates! :/
BUT! I have to say this comic has successfully absorbed nearly a WHOLE WEEK of me reading it from the start to now! COMPLETELY addictive ^.^

I’m with the Anon Monkey. I just went through eleven years of updates in a week, and I have to add this story to the list of my favorite comics… but I only get to read more on MWF…
I did notice the links to AD: Legacy, so I get to read through that too, although I still have to figure out how it works in canon.
