“Judging by her face, they don’t eat meat?” Vic gave Maelinn a sheepish look. He hadn’t meant to make her squeamish.
“It’s a bit more complicated.” Chel stated with a little worry.

Update: After five+ hours doing numbers and creating it in Indiegogo's somewhat buggy interface - fundraiser is go. Changes were made.
Please note the Indiegogo post. The tentative plan is for a goal of $3,500. It will be all or nothing. The FIRST 25 pairs of Stealth Dice will be $5, which includes shipping in the US. After those are gone, they will be $5 per die. Each die will cost $1.20 to produce, so I'll be making .25 cents profit on the first 50.
Stretch goals will be a Zeta die being made available and soft shading over cel shading and I don't know.
I don't feel right about doing stupid tiers. I'm not going to go chase my dog around the apartment on video yelling some supporter's name. I might be convinced to stream my daughter playing Minecraft for an hour. ;) She's funny about it, talking 9 year old trash to all the animals. She's not very good at it. Maybe I'll just have a $500 tier where I go to Chipotle and think about the supporter while eating a delicious taco. Hopefully that at least got a smile out of someone. (Mmmmmmm.. Chipotle steak tacos... want... now...)
More likely, there will be a permanent supporter page created when I redo the site where I will draw them as a member of the AD universe and make up a silly bio for them. :) Plus they get all the stuff.
If it fails, no hard feelings. I won't be discontinuing AD. I'll still be doing fixes and things that must be done now that my year is beginning to stabilize. Nobody was sick or broken or just at home this week.. which hasn't been the case for the entire school year. :( Yup, hubby's out of sick days AGAIN, meaning if he is sick, there goes $100-$200. :( Kim's been great. Yes, she has a cardiology appointment I have not scheduled because I'm terrified of the bill under our 'so awesome and wonderful lower tier health insurance'. I'll run a payitforward later in the year to deal with that. On top of that, while I don't BELIEVE my laptop is going to self destruct when it hits 3 years old in November, I am very aware that it is unhappy with the amount of work I have done on it daily for the last two + years.
Great, I used to HATE Chipotle, until I discovered the burrito bowl and the tacos.... want tacos...
I'll be submitting the campaign to Indiegogo tonight or tomorrow morning. Text will be current tomorrow evening, btw. I was FNALLY able to get ALL my comics done before Saturday. Oh and TEXT is part of the campaign, it will be current, because all AD stuff will be done FIRST, with priority. So back to work. Taking Kim to an Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow and a Lego thing at Toys R Us. Next week... Ponies...

Not necessarily, with the technology already in play, AI pregnancy done on the fly would be easy. Hell, it would be a fairly simple matter for them to cause her to be pregnant with her own clone.
Of course, given her reaction to the healing nanites, not to mention the relay, I doubt anyone would be left alive if they sprung that particular surprise on Chel.

Oh I considered it once, but I decided that having the ADC impregnate Chel with Lexx’s baby would be going a little too far into ‘soap opera’ territory. 😉

It might be “soap opera territory,” but I wouldn’t put it passed the ADC . . . they’d prolly think they could use it to keep him in line: “Your human girlfriend is pregnant with your child, do as we say or we kill them both.”
