“You need another bath.” Chel scooped the fox up in her arms, tears streaming down her cheeks. “Worse than a skunk! And it’s making my eyes water!”
“I’m sorry.” Swiftpaw whined sadly, laying his head over his paws and feeling thoroughly embarrassed.
Chel carried him quickly away from the examination room he had coming from, not about to enter the room with the stronger smell wafting from it. She headed to Stealth’s room. Stealth’s nostrils flared and her ears immediately flattened to her skull. She wrinkled her muzzle in distaste, baring her fangs at both Chel and Swiftpaw.

I found my ability to work again. :D :D I got a lot of work done today, despite the drag that was last week where nothing was really going right, even though NOTHING was concerning me. Just the constant drag of malfunctioning equipment takes its toll. Now I'm finishing up my day with this little note on progress to be done, but first.
It's summer. My daughter is home from school and my husband has Friday-Sunday's off, which means there are people here all the time and I'm BAD at being easily distracted by people/wanting to make sure they're entertained and not left alone all the time. This week though, I think I'm just going to let her vegetate in front of Minecraft (with enforced breaks to read a book or two as well and then tell me about the book.) What good is summer if you can't have a week every now and then to just do NOTHING when you're a kid. :D (There'll be room cleaning first.)
So tomorrow, first order of business will be Alien Dice work all day, including some more archive building before turning the site over to Easel. I'm not fond of the method of updating (yes, you people who keep wanting me to move to Easel, it adds more steps to uploading comics that regular Comicpress doesn't need, but the Alien Dice is too unwieldy and archive too large to keep using Comicpress). I see it as a headache at the moment that I'm putting off until I'm used to it on my other sites.
Now, I'm going to try to put up some sort of news weekly as I go along. There are FOUR updates this week. I updated the text to current and now that my laptop is FIXED, I should be ok for awhile. I don't know if I'll do any Kickstarters soon. Sometimes commentators affect my enthusiasm to doing things when they don't offer suggestions and just complaints.
I WILL be doing a Kickstarter for Volume 1 of Alien Dice in December. Why December? Because I don't know how long it will take and I don't want to be holding onto shipping funds so the government thinks I've earned money they should tax. :P They worry me enough as it is and we're in good standing. :P I WILL be running a book Kickstarter for another, smaller project in a month or so (One for Abby's Agency, then one for Pawprints), but I want to do a GOOD job on the AD one, so don't want it to be first.
Everything is good right now. Better than the last few years. Did I mention there are four updates this week?

Stealth: So you were able to do all that with a spray from your little scent glands? Well then, lets see what mine can do! (raises tail, emits single jet of liquid which hits the wall and begins to burn through it) Well, what do you know? He he he he!!!
Keith: Are they allowed to use chemical weapons in the “Game”?
Chel: I certainly hope so!
Hazmat Scientist: Aaand there goes the hazmat warning! You guys need to evacuate, now! (studies tablet) Looks like we could be running out of examination rooms…
