The view shifted abruptly to Riane, listening to the conversation from inside a large storage compartment somewhere in the store. Light speckled her form from the wire screen coloring it and she could hear every word clearly.
“The ADC is recruiting Rishan children with specific bloodlines.” The leader of the group was speaking again in a calm, nonthreatening tone. “We want to adminster a blood test and see if she qualifies. You will be paid.”
“I’m not interested. My daughter and I are fine here.” Riane’s father replied matter-of-factly.
