Day 27 2 18

“A soul echo is not an entity you should anger, Lexx.”  Anger rippled through Riane’s form and the heavy voice struck Lexx with a force that sent him back another step.  “I can make your sleeping life a nightmare.” Lexx glared at Riane.  Who was she to be threatening him?  She was a mental impression, nothing physical and nothing that could harm him.  He turned away, rolling his eyes at the threat. “That’s fine.  I don’t need to sleep.”  Lexx shrugged and waited.

  1. Oh, great. It’s like being in the back seat of the car on a family trip with your brother holding his finger one inch from your face saying “I’m not touching you”…..FOR ETERNITY.

    1. HAHAHA! 😀

  2. Chel would look over his sleep if necessary through the relay…

    Cat fight….

  3. Doing the right thing and threats? Well it isn’t like Lexx doesn’t have experience dealing with those.

Maybe it would help to tell him they don’t care if he opens his mouth or not.

  4. No, it wouldn’t help to tell him that. I’m pretty sure that trying to stand up to the ADC is (to Lexx) flat suicide. Hopeless. Pointless, even. Faced with suicide or trying to grasp at straws for an alternative that might possibly lead to a happy ending, well… I really cannot hold this against him. Sure, a stand may need to be taken, but very few people have it in them to be martyred for a cause, especially if there’s no visible hope of accomplishing anything except dying.

    1. Which in a way is what makes it all the more tragic.

Seeing as the ADC only sees Lexx as evidence that can be used against him and the Head of the ADC has certain issues with Lexx in general, they aren’t going to stop.

If anything, all it really does for Lexx to run away is provides his back as a target for them. From Lexx’s point of view, he believes shouting out is equivalent to being martyred. But in all actuality walking away may well be setting himself as a lesson to ll other players to obey and always make the choices that keep you enslaved to them.
