Victor and Chel joined the growing gathering next. Chel glanced over the room, looking for Lexx. Not seeing him, she let out a sigh and walked up to her mother for a good morning and a comforting hug. From there, everyone became engaged in idle chitchat while filling their plates with food.
Chel ended up passing on her first plate as Stealth asked for her piled high breakfast biscuit, layered with eggs, sausage, bacon, and slices of tomato. Chel glanced anxiously at Lexx’s door and her parents, now enjoying a cup of coffee. She wasn’t sure what the day was going to bring, but it already seemed far less busy as there wasn’t any ERA staffers in the room, just Mel and Vic.

Mmmmmmmm…breakfast biscuit. Seems to be lacking in the cheese department though. Stealth looks happy.
Of course, Lexx has that big news he has to drop on them. I wonder how they all will take it? I suspect Chel’s parent’s could see what this means the ADC is up to. Heck, they could even suspect that Lexx’s silence after the game doesn’t mean squat to them. Then there’s the other agency members that are watching. Should be interesting reactions all around.

Ah.. read the description and had to change what I was going to type.. At first I was thinking Stealth was all “I can haz Cheezburger.” but it’s breakfast.. oh well.

Anyone else getting the impression Mittens was a touch spoiled? Because Stealth wouldn’t try something like that if Mittens couldn’t get away with it.
