The pair turned down a corridor just as the petite form of Lisaan walked into view, pushing a large metal box on a hovering cart.
“Lisaan!” Damian shouted, startling the girl. She jumped and gave them a shocked look. “I want you to meet Keith!” He pushed Keith forward and immediately turned and walked away.
“Hi.” Keith waved uncertainly.
Lisaan stared at him, confused.
Keith looked to Damian for some kind of direction, only to find him gone. “Where did Damian go?” Keith grimaced, raising a hand and striking it in the air for a moment, as though expecting him to be standing there, invisible.

He’s basically trying to adopt her out to someone while Riley is distracted. 😉

Don’t get me wrong. Lisaan is one of my favorite characters. Easily makes top three. I just don’t think Keith is old enough to be her daddy.
Unless you mean a dom/sub relationship, in which case, I don’t think Keith is quite the right kind of man for that. In fact, the ONLY character I’ve seen so far that seems to have a real kink for anything like that is Trasik, and that would not be a good first dom for Lisaan. Well, her and that First jackass from the ADC that is openly and gleefully evil.
Also, if Lisaan needs to be adopted away from Riley, I personally think Vic would actually be a good choice. Get the paternal instincts going, and he will kick any ass in the universe to protect her. Hell, he barely restrained himself from killing Lexx as is, and Lexx is just as devoted to protecting Chel as Vic.
I like to think that Vic would immediately feel for the poor girl who only wants to work peacefully in a modest position of servitude. He might be a dick, but he is honorable, and that’s part of the reason I can give him some grudging respect. The frightened servant girl with an uncertain and potentially terrible life ahead would certainly pull on his heartstrings.
My top three favorite characters are Riley, Maelinn, and a tie between Lisaan and Torin. Might sound odd, but I really, really like Torin, even though we haven’t seen much of her. She’s kind and gentle, and though she’s unfortunate on her homeworld, on Earth, she would have no trouble finding a mate. Heck, she could get an AI if she wants kids, unless that’s illegal on Litta, too.
I find it a bit odd that Litta is a place I think I would hate passionately, yet all my favorite characters are at least half Littan.
