In a nearby room, Kane and Korbaen were sitting in a waiting room, dressed in simple earth clothes, tshirts and jeans, going over interview notes. Sitting across the room, Chill leaned forward over a table with her head resting on one hand, staring at them like they were an engaging tv program.
Kane and Korbaen stared back at her, uncomfortable with the icy human giving them such intense scrutiny.
“This is a very strange human.” Korbaen whispered anxiously to Kane.
“Unsettling.” Kane replied nervously.
“I have to take one with me?” Vic visibly shuddered at the thought of having to babysit a teen CAPE, when he already had multiple young people and aliens to be keeping track of.

I do belive Vic is worried about the right thing actually. the problem is not that the teens all have amazing powers, it’s that he i to babysit an expanding group of rather angsty teens, and make them behave.

I don’t think Chill is Angsty. I think she’s more extremely fangirlish. I suspect she’s in for a rude awakening when she sees Lexx fighting for his life.

She seems like a bit of a kid, to be honest. That’s not a bad thing, but she’s going to watch a man kill a lot of creatures and people, and he will do it brutally. I don’t think she’ll like it.
