Chel narrowed her eyes in disbelief, trembling with anger at Chill’s comment.
“Nobody told Chill what was going to happen.” Vic explained to Chel.
“I’m here to see aliens!” Chill beamed at the two of them, oblivious to what was really going on.
“Dad.” Chel sighed in annoyance. Chill was just a spectator. Here for entertainment. The very thought made Chel’s stomach turn. Vic patted his daughter once on the shoulder, then walked over to Chill, motioning for her to follow him.
“Chill, come over here. We need to talk.”
Chill took one last look out the window, concerned about what was going to happen to the massive dice.
