"Not exactly the place I ever envisioned finding you." Riley turned at the voice, arching an eyebrow upward inquisitively. Was he talking to him? A man had sat down next to him on the curve of the bar just a few moments before. He had not ordered anything yet. "Hmmm?" Riley looked him over suspiciously. He was an older human, a little shorter than himself and looked fairly well groomed and dressed. He was not someone native to the bar. Riley didn't recognize him. "I don't know you." Riley turned away, hoping that would be the end of it. He didn't like the vibe he was getting from this man. "Mind a word over there?" Victor motioned to an empty table across the bar. It was in a corner without anyone sitting nearby. Riley turned, staring at the man and where he was pointing. This was annoying. What did he want? Victor slid off his barstool and started toward the table. Riley sighed and clutching his mug, walked after him. He was curious to know what he wanted. He apparently knew Riley wasn't human. That was easy to see.

  1. Now that ‘chat’ will be interesting.

  2. Man meeting your future blood sister-in-law’s dad before said dad even knows your soul twin and his daughter are dating is always awkward.
