“It is not a ‘good thing’ for your kind to continually come to our planet without regard to our laws.” Victor stood. Riley held the photographs out over the table, starting to get up himself.

“We have our own laws-” he began speaking, only to stammer to a stop as Victor grabbed his arm instead of the pictures. In one quick movement, a ring of metal clicked around the shocked littan’s wrist. The other ring clicked on Victor’s right wrist.

Riley had expected the human would not try to capture him alone. There was no-one else around,… was there? Shocked, Riley stared at the cuffs. Victor jerked the cuff lightly, making sure it was secure. This was only a distraction to keep the alien detained. He knew he was taking a chance, and his heart was racing at the prospect of what Riley might do to him.
