Meanwhile, Kane casually strolled down the steps to the beach. She had slipped out while Damian was getting a surprise call from Riley. Something about being shot at and alien hunters. She'd shrugged it off. It did not matter to Kane, she was going to be leaving soon. Damian frowned as the monitor in front of him went blank. Riley had called from the primary medical bay on the Gold Moon, Damian's ship. He had informed Damian of his encounter. The Sairah felt an uncharacteristic weight settle on his shoulders during the conversation. He was uneasy with the prospects of something that would harm Lexx. Damian had really hoped that things would work between Chel and Lexx so he could hang around with Lexx. He had a deal with Claudia, but she'd been busy lately, preparing a grand celebration. Plus, no matter who ended up with Lexx, Damian could still be there. Damian wandered out to the closest balcony and leaned against the railing. He looked out onto the beach and noticed a blue and yellow figure walking. He considered following her, but the nice breeze ruffling his long sun streaked hair made him feel lazy. He half turned, considering going back to the deck where the chairs were and relaxing, when his eyes landed on a very quiet, diminutive form sitting in the corner of the balcony. Lisaan idly rubbed the back of her head. She had her knees pulled up to her chest and was resting her face against them, trying to block out the strong scents around her. The smell of salt water and vegetation was overpowering. Lisaan was thinking about ways to get out of her situation and avoid getting sent back. Damian walked toward her and knelt before her, taking a moment to gauge how she was feeling. He had seen Riley being rude to the girl. Damian had wanted to say something, but had assumed that Riley was merely in a mood and shouldn't have the subject broached at that point. "It's very rare for Riley to act like that." Damian stated empathetically. "I doubt he really means it." "… he does." Lisaan looked up, but not directly at Damian.
