Stealth quietly padded through The Rift. Lexx and Chel were talking in the living area. Fly was sitting on Chel's lap and Drift was on her shoulder. A pang of jealousy made Stealth sniff. With a swish of her twin tails, she headed for the little elevator down to the biosphere. The biosphere was getting crowded, but that didn't stop the dice from lounging in it. Zeta and Epsy were laying side by side, dozing. Dash was laying on his stomach nearby watching something. Dig was casually dragging his foreclaws into the topsoil. He was having a difficult time not giving in to the urge to dig. Energy was stretched out halfway in the water, halfway on the grass. Stealth growled faintly and planted herself right in front of Epsy and Zeta, "Do you really think Lexx isn't going to notice?" She said skeptically. "He misses a lot, but -" "Notice what?" Zeta shook his head and yawned. "Uhm. No?" Epsy grunted. "I can't believe you two!" Stealth hissed. "Do you realize what will happen?" Dash wrinkled his muzzle. Here it was again. Why couldn't Stealth just act like any other dice and do what dice do best, be animals, not people. She was too concerned with thinking over instinct. Dash liked to think on occasion, but instinct was much more fun. "What?" Zeta gave Stealth a blank look. He obviously had no clue. Stealth sighed.
And ... the new Six Way Wallpaper War is IN effect on the main page! Who will be the FIRST to go on Thursday morning?
If you're new, here's a quick little rundown! Dice, which is, btw, plural and singular in slang as shown by the dictionary, are creatures who are part of a game that is played by the rich all around the galaxy. They're merely animals with an uplifted intelligence and actual sentience, thus, they ACT like animals, which is a constant factor in the game. Just because the cat talks, doesn't mean she's not going to turn around and slap you... Now, just a warning, the dice are NOT the primary creatures in this story. If you want a story featuring regular talking animals that don't look humanoid, visit Shivae! and enjoy!

  1. SQUEE! <3 I love watching your art evolve and this scene of the dice is sooooo adorable! I wanna hug them all!!

  2. I guess that answers my questions from before. Zeta is quite obviously clueless as to what he’s done, when he was following his instincts.

  3. so players talk to your dice about the facts of life before some other dice takes advantage of their ignorance. THE MORE YOU KNOW
