A brilliant light illuminated Lexx's thoughts. With a cheerful growl, Dash appeared within the relay and dropped on top of Lexx. The pair rolled through nothingness until Lexx regained his composure.
"Dash!" Lexx shouted through the relay, attempting to push the unusually affectionate sivarile away from him. "Get out of the relay and do your job!!"
Dash purred, slathering his wet, rough tongue all over the side of Lexx's face. Lexx snorted and quickly wiped the imaginary slobber away.

Now, I wonder what Lexx did to deserve this treatment…most likely the mere fact, that he’s in a hurry to finish up to get back to Chel is bringing delight to Dash 🙂
