Legacy 2 14

  1. Oh dear, the latest comic easel update messed up your site too! D: I was just wrestling with it for the last 5 hours and had to remove some appearance customisations I’d made to the style sheet because they no longer worked. Something is messed up with the wrappers. Can’t make them wider for some reason. Something is overriding every modification I made to them in the stylesheet. The constant changes and bugs are making me hate having to maintain my website.

    1. The new update handles the size of the pages and column widths via the appearance/customize section. 😀

      1. I know, but they don’t work the same. It makes things wider, but doesn’t fix any format issues. 😛

        1. Yeah, I’m not liking these sliders at all. It’s not doing anything. :/

        2. The only way I got the format to work again was by removing the borders around my sidebars and content column. Used to be nudging the page wrapper a little wider would create extra room for the borders, but I think something is overriding any adjustments I make to the stylesheet, because that no longer works.

PS – I know the fix for the navigation problems with multiple stories on one site. It has to do with the chapter order in your storyline structure. Label each chapter with a numerical order, and between storylines skip 100 ahead to make room for more chapters.

Ie- AD primary: put the chapters in order – 1, 2, 3, etc. Then put Legacy’s chapters as 100, 101, 102, etc. All chapters must be in order and every comic must be labeled with the right chapter, or it all gets messed up.

        3. The fix is that you just have to delete the width settings in your child theme.

        4. I don’t use child themes. 😛 Can’t figure out how to make them.

        5. It’s in your style sheet. 😀 I’m pretty sure I told you how to fix the chapter order with the 100s trick. 😉
