“It’s not how things work, Mr. Reid.” Damian continued his search for the right things to say. “And I’m not in any position to do anything about it.”
“People are dying on Earth because of your game.” Victor pressed his fists down against the table, suppressing the urge to bang them up and down on it with each word.
“It’s not my game.” Damian shook his head and waved one hand as though trying to get that statement dismissed.
“You’re playing it on our planet.” Vic snapped at Damian.
“Yes, but we are not killing people.” Damian replied in a helpless tone. The accusation was a sharp one, that cut deeply. Damian would never dream of hurting another person, on purpose or by accident.

“Yes, but we are not killing people.” -Damian
That’s not going to go over well, considering the casualty reports that Vic mentioned when having a similar talk about Alien Dice with Chel.
starting to wonder if Lexx’s uncaught dice are actually really dangerous. I hope Victor gives Damian some more information than we’ve goten so far.
Victor never makes baseless accusations; there are obviously intelligence he and his team have on these free dice and is making his case from this information.
Damian better get ready for a slice of Eathling Crow Pie.
Damian’s feelings are hurt, but Vic has a point. The game shouldn’t be played on a planet where the natives have no clue what’s happening – that’s asking for trouble.
Again still wondering what happened to the whole ” the die bonds to the nearest creature that is compatible with it making it a sentient being.” thing. I took this as meaning that the dice to be were common animals until a die is thrown in their general direction. Why else would they end up at different, random sides/ levels?
Wow, the denial is strong with this one.
“We are not killing people.” Yeah, so either:
-You are in Denial, or
-You don’t think humans are “people”.
I mean, come on, really? You release dozens of powerful, alien creatures on a planet where a significant fraction of the population has to deal with dysentery as a daily fact of life, and you think everyone’s going to be just fine?
ah, but remember, Lexx, Damian and Riley aren’t the only players on Earth … merely among the more ethical ones.
