“That time had long since passed.” Lessa remembered the children playing in the garden. Kade had so many of them and most of them were sweet kids. They had all been polite to her when they saw her, all but one. “Trasik saw things differently.” She wasn’t sure when Trasik’s manner toward her had shifted, but when it had happened, it had been a drastic change in a normally polite little girl. She had gone from nice smiles to baring her fangs when she thought Lessa wasn’t looking.

  1. They look so happy together.
And that middle of picture of Trasik is so adorable… Until she gets angry. O_O; *gulp*

  2. Daddy’s little girl got jealous and found Lexx. Thats what I am guessing.

  3. Oh man. That last panel is just freaky. O.O

  4. Yeah, kids don’t do well with what they think are replacement mamas. Even if they absolutely aren’t.

Now, was Trasik a big ball of crazy before this, or did this lead to her becoming so?

    1. Wait… Isn’t her/Riley’s mother still alive? This might be less “Replacement Mom” issues, so much as “Dad is cheating on Mommy with HER!” issues. Yeah, THAT would turn her into the viper we all know and loath today.

  5. Rather than issues about a mother figure I think it’s more like daddy’s little princess is feeling neglected. I’d bet she used to be doted on quite a bit being the only daughter.

  6. actually crying….. this is horrible…
also- trasik used to have a concience!!!?? wowee day

  7. I dunno, I think Trasik looks slightly hilarious in the last panel. Almost Alien VS Predator.

    I blame low blood sugar.

  8. Crazy with a side of crazy. Yup that’s our Trasik.
The one problem being that only Lexx has what it takes to put her in her place.
The next problem: Trasik doesn’t like to recognize her place or stay in it.
