“It’s called Dueling Truths.” Lexx began to explain, speaking quickly. “I used to play it at the academy. We take turns asking questions or doing a small challenge. You have to do one or the other. The game is over when both are refused.” Lexx neglected to mention the underlying reason for the game. It had been his observation, that when he and friends got together to play the game, they would all answer questions they wouldn’t normally because they got so caught up in playing. “It sounds a lot like a game we have on Earth.” Chel giggled, laying the bookplate down on her lap. “It’s a game to learn about people.” Lexx felt his cheeks burn and was sure he was blushing. “Since we’re stuck here, I thought it’d be a good way to pass the time.” He was halfway worried that she wouldn’t want to play. “I’ll play.” Chel smiled, not noticing Lexx blushing. “Why don’t you begin, Chel?” Lexx tilted his head, making sure his hair fell over the side of his face until he calmed himself down.
