“Oh …” Chel smiled thoughtfully.
Color flooded Chel’s field of view. The grey blue walls were replaced by a cloudy blue sky and grass as far as the eye could see. Chel opened her relay and invited the four children into a world she had been toying with one and off for awhile now. It was bright and cheery with butterflies floating on a gentle breeze all around them.
“I thought so.” Chel grinned, pleased with herself at working through the relay and creating a world of her own. The children looked baffled, maybe even a little shocked at all the colors. Karmine swayed next to Chel. She had been deep in her own thoughts and hadn’t expected to be pulled out of them. Pitrea giggled nearby and the twins, their relay selves were not quite as identical as they were in person. Tayne had longer hair and was dressed in a red robe. Jayne had short hair and was wearing a turquoise outfit.
