"Impetuous kid." Vic scowled. "I told him Chel wasn't interested."
"So … he had no idea?" Mel twined her necklace thoughtfully around a finger.
"He's been recruiting for his pet project - CUT." Vic stated. "And no. No-one outside of our unit knows what is going on here."
"We're going to have to report Chel's location to the board." Mel said reluctantly.
"I'll do it." Vic volunteered, knowing how much his wife hated paper work. The sooner they reported it, the sooner they could go in and confront Chel and whoever was with her.
