"Come my sisters! Come my brothers! Tonight is-" The hyena trotted outside the circle of milling hyenas and addressed them mentally, sending persuasive thought patterns that ripped through the minds of the lower hyenas like a torrent of wind. They all immediately turned their attention to their queen.
But then, something broke the dice bonded hyena's concentration. A very familiar trilling made her jerk head upright and stare into the darkness.
"Fluffy!! So glad to see you!! How ya doing?!" Rook suddenly emerged from the shadows and slammed into the hyena, gripping her tightly in her powerful forelegs and chirping. The hyena gasped as she felt her forelegs crunch up against her ribcage. Great, Rook just had to show up and mess up her plans, which meant Lexx wasn't far behind and her reign was about to end.

But honestly, I’m glad you showed up. I mean, Fluffy was about to destroy the African ecosystem!
