In the training room, Lexx was halfway done with yet another opponent. He had gone through several dice before deciding it was time to face Stealth. She had drawn blood first. Lexx had not expected her to come charging into the training arena at full speed without taking the time to study her environment and his condition. She had just emerged and launched herself at Lexx. He had been taken by surprise and now limped slightly from the raking her claws had done across his left leg. Lexx had managed to escape a severe mauling with a well placed punch that had cracked one of Stealth’s fangs. Now they were locked into a repetitive cycle of attacking and evading. The cat outweighed Lexx, but was just as quick as he was when it counted. She’s fast … so fast … no, it’s not that. Lexx watched Stealth, waiting for any indication of what she was going to do next. She was so intent on Lexx, she was not paying as much attention to her surroundings as she should have. There were blood spatters on the floor from the previous fight. Even with four feet, she could slip if she was not careful. She is more Chel’s than mine. She makes me think about Chel and how mad she’s going to be if she finds out I’ve hurt her. Lexx felt an ache awaken deep inside. He did not want to upset Chel, but he didn’t have a choice. Stealth snarled, but Lexx had finally made a mistake. He was distracted.
I'm aware that there is a typo, it'll be fixed.
