Half an hour later, Chel finished telling Lexx about her parents… again. She could have sworn they had this conversation before, but Lexx was always so interested in the topic. Now, he was sitting quietly, idly tracing a finger around the rim of his cup in thought. Chel was sitting next to him and the only dice still in the room was Fly. The others had quickly excused themselves to leave Chel and Lexx alone to talk. Fly never quite got the point. He enjoyed being near Chel and missed her. "I understand, Chel." Lexx nodded slowly. He stared ahead, but could feel Chel's eyes on him. She was looking at him and saying nothing. He wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not and called her on it after a moment of silence. "You're staring at me." "I'm sorry, Lexx." Chel quickly averted her eyes. "You just look so - different. Not in a bad way or anything, it's just - different." Chel glanced at Lexx, wanting to see his expression. It was blank, the same expression that normally clouded his face. "Lexx has changed so much. Not as drastic as getting wings, but what else is going to happen to him?" The thought brought a little twinge of fear with it. She didn't like him changing and there was a strange feeling in the air around Lexx. He was brooding over something.
