Lexx turned and strode back to the couch, kneeling in front of Chel with a troubled smile on his face. It would only take a second of time in reality and he wanted to get it over with.
"You're sure you want to do this?" Chel asked warily, noting that an invitation had been opened to her from Lexx's relay. "I'm not doing this because of what you did, I do want to." Using the relay was still a new experience for Chel and she wasn't completely sure about using it properly. She was nervous about making a mistake… or Lexx seeing something she didn't want him to.
"I want you to know what I can't tell you. There are some things that are difficult to actually tell a person. Let's go, now, before it's too late." Lexx spoke hurriedly, not wanting to say anything more aloud than he had to.
"Too-" Chel let her thoughts race, forgetting about the relay for a moment.
