Riley quietly led Chel through the hallways. Swiftpaw and Stealth trotted defensively around Chel. They wanted her to feel secure. Fly continued riding on Chel's head. Drift met them in one hallway. He was almost too big to fit and was leaving a trail of water behind him. "Are you sure you're comfortable staying here? You could go home ..." "I'm fine." Chel shook her head. "I have them looking after me." She indicated the two dice. She did feel more secure with them, although also wary with the fresh memories of Epsy still in mind. "I want to be here when Lexx wakes up." "I understand." Riley nodded. "Riley ..." Chel murmured after a few more silent steps. "Hmm?" Riley inclined his head curiously toward her. "Riley, I'm sorry for yelling at you." Chel apologized slowly. He had protected her and it made her feel bad after what she had said to him earlier. "I'm used to it." Riley shrugged dismissively. "No. I know I have a big problem with my temper." Chel persisted. "It's okay, really." Riley grinned. "You're just passionate about things, sometimes the wrong things ... at the wrong -" He trailed off as the sensation he was being glared at drilled through the side of his head. Once again, he couldn't leave well enough alone. Only this time, he stopped. "I tend to bring that out in people." He mumbled, hoping it would fill the hole he was digging.
