“Just go away. Go away!” Lexx shouted at Zaile. Then he turned stiffly and marched away.
Zaile followed him.
Nearby Riley showed Victor and Keith to their room. “Chel’s room is right down the hall. Be sure to lock your doors at night or you might end up with dice in your room.” Riley advised with a smile. “They tend to go wherever there isn’t a locked door.”
Victor nodded sharply.
Keith looked like he planned to leave a window open.
“They’re harmless,” Riley continued. “But it’s a good idea to ask before touching them. They all understand your language.”
