“What do you have in the bag?” Swiftpaw looked up pleadingly at Keith. He hoped that by asking, he would be offered some of whatever was in there. “Just clothes, toothbrush, deodorant and my netbook.” Keith rattled off a list of the basic essentials. He didn’t have anything special in his bag. “What’s a netbook?” Swiftpaw inquired eagerly. “My little time waster.” Keith grinned. He started to take off his coat. “I can’t live without solitaire.” “What’s solitaire?” Swiftpaw perked up his ears as far as they would go. It had to be something really special for Keith not to be able to live without it. “I’ll show you later, Swiftpaw. Maybe I can even teach you how to play.” The thought of teaching the dice how to do such a thing amused Keith, although he’d probably prefer doing it with a deck of cards over his prized possession.

  1. I seem to recall a small red eye peeking out of that bag…it’s probably better, that Swiftpaw didn’t get to ‘stick his nose into it’.
