The dice stirred quickly to see what was going on, but only Stealth, Sirius and Serenity followed the procession out of Maelinn’s chambers and into the hallways that led to the medical bay. Stealth slunk low to the ground ahead of Sirius and Serenity, having been thoroughly shamed by Riley for withholding information.
Serenity cast Sirius a questioning look. Sirius bobbed his head and kept step with Stealth. They would not be kept out of what was going to happen. They should be there.

And I still want to skritch Serenity’s chin. I don’t know why, but she just seems very cuddly to me!

Okay – I figured it out: A stuffed toy Serenity shaped like a C that you can use as a pillow on long car/airplane trips when you can’t lie down!
