"I still don't get why you would want these rejects?" Trasik gave Chel the look one might give to an animal on display. Interested, but no desire to come any closer. She clearly didn't consider humans to be at her level. Riley laughed, taking the opportunity to place his arm around Chel's shoulders, more as a protective measure than anything else. Chel didn't take it that way. She had already come to her own conclusions and was really afraid. "Why not? They'd be a prize!" Riley grinned jokingly. "Especially the human!" "Hey!" Chel really resented being referred to like that. She had a name! Trasik shook her head, smirking. "Uhm,.. yes…" She looked at Riley oddly, as though he had just sprouted an eye in the middle of his forehead. "I'll never understand you and your tastes little brother. But, whatever suits you as long as you stay out of my way." "I would never do anything like that, Trasik." Riley grinned innocently, his words taking on a mocking twang at the word never. "I play my own games." 'Little brother.' The words echoed through Chel's mind. HE was Trasik's brother! Trasik had just tried to kill Lexx. Where was Lexx anyway? She really needed him… NOW!
