“I am not her daddy.” Lexx scowled. “That is the truth. It is necessary for her to remember that.”

Wow, Lexx, way to prove your independence from the ADC! Instead of letting them take your friends from you, you’ll do it yourself!

While I applaud Lexx for telling the ADC what to do with their ‘better’ contract… but really biting a little girl’s head off ’cause she calls him daddy that’s uncalled for aggression, she doesn’t really understand…

Or maybe he must tell her not to call him daddy because the ADC will hear, and you can imagine what might happen to her if, for some reason, they did get an opportunity to secure his progeny.
Harsh, yes, but necessary. They would take her without hesitation, and you know it. She’s exotic, unique, and would bring in tons of money. As much as, if not more than Lexx’s own offspring.
