"I do not have time for parties, Damian." Lexx rubbed the towel over his still dripping hair.
"I guess we don't really need you there, but Chel might want to see you." Damian grinned, putting emphasis on 'need'.
"You didn't abduct her did you?" Lexx shivered at the thought. As if he didn't have enough problems. He didn't want to cause Chel any inconvenience.
"Certainly not!" Damian exclaimed in mock disbelief. "What sort of friend do you take me for?"
"The type without boundaries." Lexx groaned more to himself than Damian.

No… didn’t abduct her … per se…. just coaxed her into following him onto his ship to “fix” the dress

No, he didn’t abduct her! A proper abduction involves rope or sometimes chain, and the mood lighting was all wrong. It’s supposed to be all shadowy and noir and ominous!
He also forgot the comically oversized bugnet. You can’t have a proper abduction without that, even if it is just a formality.
