Stealth darted over the sandy beach, her paws kicking up a cloud of sand in her wake. Then she plunged through a crest of thick fern leaves. She continued running, more for the sheer release she felt at being able to freely move without running into a confining wall than to put distance between herself and the water dice. Stealth knew they wouldn't pursue. They were much too large and heavy to get past the thick stands of palm trees she was winding through. Zeta might try to follow. She was confident she was moving fast enough to shake him if he dared to follow her and attempt to annoy her. Panting lightly, Stealth burst into a clearing and slowed to a trot. She turned her head to look back the way she had come. The only sound she could hear was that of the squawking parrots she had disturbed in her run. "I think I lost - " Stealth began to purr. The purr abruptly caught in her throat at what sounded like something large and vaguely familiar making a growling noise behind her.
