Then, the saucer and the rocket ship vanished with an odd popping noise, like a balloon popping. Chel found herself floating in space, staring at a baffled looking blue alien in a red spacesuit that looked very much like Lexx.
The pair floated in space for what felt like an eternity before Chel rolled onto her stomach and kicked toward Lexx like she was swimming. He nodded, smiled and reached out for her.
Chel smiled … and reached back.
