"I doubt your daughter has any idea what is going on beyond that island."  The woman shook her head.  "We need to know more about the situation before we act.  If I were to go by my instincts, I'd say we're dealing with a group of aliens here for their own entertainment."  Her face distorted in disgust at the thought.  Aliens, using Earth like a theme park?
"It appears that way."  Mel nodded in agreement.
"Chel's a smart girl."  Vic said.  "But even smart people can be fooled.  I'm very concerned."
"At least they're treating her well."  Mel allowed herself to smile.  "I didn't see a problem with letting her go back."
"Yes, she'd probably make a great hostage."  Vic muttered.
Mel gave him a look.
Vic quickly changed the subject.
"What are we going to do from here, Primrose?"
