"Deuce! Dash!" Lexx blinked at Dash. The tiger was quickly diminishing in size, his form melting away into drifting golden sparkles. Within moments the only thing left was tiny black kitten with golden markings, red stripes and wide awestruck eyes. Every strand of fur on Dash's body was sticking upright. "How - Dash?!" Lexx quickly grabbed the kitten by the scruff of his neck and picked him up to get a better look at him. "How did you?! Oh, this is not good." Dash swung limply in front of Lexx's face. "You're telling me!!" Dash whined mournfully, tucking his hind legs and tail up against his body out of instinct. The only time he'd ever been a kitten was when he was a true blood sivarile. "Stealth is going to have a field day with this!!" Lexx lowered Dash, unknowingly within reach of Nuisance. He took the opportunity to peck Dash on the head several times before Lexx put him back down on the ground to get his remote out. Even tagged he'd have to worry about the ostrich attempting to escape. Dash landed in a plump pile of fur and sat there feeling sorry for himself. He was getting very stressed vibes from Lexx.

  1. Looks like SOMEONE didn’t put proper ceilings on their variables.

  2. So cute! *Cuddles the little tigey* eeee! <3

  3. Rolled over from a six to a one? Oh, how cruel this game plays 😀 Though, I have to disagree with Eboreg…that roll must have been intentional. Having a variable increment is easy, jumping to the beginning requires extra code…which means, that this transformation was on purpose.

    1. If they’re using a base-6 encoding or something, and his level is one digit, then a naive 5+1 would wrap around to 0.

      1. Yeah, but it would have happened before and Lexx wouldn’t be so surprised. Someone threw a monkey wrench into the machinery — probably the three who were talking on the secret relay a few pages back.
