"What was that about, Lexx?" Chel inquired, looking past Lexx to the beach as he waded back out into the shallows.
"Nothing,.. just thought I'd distract them by introducing them to each other." Lexx shrugged, thinking that was probably the best thing to say. He didn't want to worry Chel.
"Oh?" Chel noted how the two were yelling at each other. The sound carried, but fortunately not clearly enough to hear what they were saying. "They don't look like they,.. like each other. Are they fighting?"
"Maybe they're too much alike." Lexx shook his head, "But at least they aren't bothering us."
