"Tomorrow's going to be a very long day."  Chel got up and slowly picked up her nightgown where she had left it, inside one of the cabinets in the armoire.  Sirius followed her as far as the shower room door, wanting to make sure that she was awake enough to walk without falling and hurting herself.  He sat down and waited patiently.
When Chel was done dressing, he escorted her back to bed, keeping his nose a few inches from her back.  She didn't have any further problems and slid under the light covers without waking Fly.  
The bed was deliciously cool without being too cold.  The sheets were soft and crisp.  And the pillows were no less luxurious.  They had an intoxicatingly light and sweet scent to them.  Chel smiled and hugged the pillow.  For a moment, she watched the gentle swirling lights emitting from the headboard, then surrendered fully to sleep.
Satisfied that Chel was asleep, Sirius circled at the foot of the bed and curled up like an oversized dog.
