“No. It’s not.” Serenity bobbed her head slowly, her ears tilting and swiveling with each word. “But I respect Sirius for doing his best. He believes so strongly in Lexx.” She turned quietly and walked away with Swiftpaw and Dash silently following. Stealth’s muzzle twitched as she tried to think of something to say back, but no words came. She couldn’t treat Serenity the same as the other dice, because she would never rise to the challenge. Serenity had a way of making even the most vicious dice treat her with respect simply with her calm presence and soothing words. Going against her would immediately turn all of the dice against Stealth. The large cat sunk down to her belly and dipped her paws into the pool in silent contemplation. Serenity was now involved and her words would carry more weight than Sirius. Worse, she made Stealth look foolish. Her plan made it seem that she doubted Lexx and she did. He was a child and once his plans were interrupted, he descended into an erratic chaos. She had only been working to prevent this. The other dice looked up to him in a way that she could not understand and was incapable of seeing. She settled on the fact that she knew Lexx better than they did. Afterall, she had seen his dreams and comforted him.

  1. *Shakes head* Sad…though she had seen his dreams…but wouldn’t going soft on him and slowing down his level cause him to hit a brick wall anyways if he went into trasik’s trap and wasn’t strong enough to get out? He’d be delayed either way….

  2. SHe simply believes that Lexx needs to think about his situation rather than to simply apply brute force and angered emotions.

  3. I just want to know when Lexx is gonna start catching dice again. If he’s only allowed to catch one a day, this little sub plot has really set him back. I suppose it can’t be helped, but isn’t it illegal to kidnap Chel just like that? Arn’t their viewers watching this or something? Lexx is constantly followed by a live feed right? Isn’t it something like interference from a third party? That’s gotta be against some rules.
As much as I like the dice, I’d like to know when their pity party will be over so the plot can start pushing forward. I wanna see Lexx kick some ass, get back to catching new dice and getting his freedom and stuff.

  4. The thing is that Stealth is trying to remain calm and logical, while Lexx is surrendering to his emotions. Stealth would love nothing more than to just let her emotions run loose, but she know she can’t do that. Stealth has admitted to being Lexx’s foil in the past, and she wants to keep that relationship out of respect for their shared history. However Stealth also wants to return to being Chel’s lap warming companion.

  5. Actually, as obnoxious as Stealt can be, I honestly think she was in the right here. It’s been mentioned multiple times that Lexx becomes more and more unstable the more he levels. What’s the point of getting Chel back if, in his quest to do so, he accidently makes the Dark Lexx strong enough to influence his actions, or even take full control? We’ve seen ample proof that it does *not* like Chel, because she is helping Lexx to find hope and beat back his depression and darker urges. I seem to remember Lexx admitting that he has NO memory of his last fight in the previous set, implying that it got strong enough there to have possibly complete control of his actions. What if that happens again? Would he ever forgive himself if he hurt Chel under its influence? I doubt it.
