Several minutes later, on Riley’s ship, Riley led Chel, Keith and Victor down a hallway to a transporter room. “I told you to leave it at home, Keith.” The news was not taken well by Victor. “I swear I did not intend to bring –her- here, Sir.” Keith sighed. He was more worried about what was being done to his pet than Victor’s concerns. “What is it?” Chel folded her glasses and pocketed them. “You have a dice?!” “No, it’s my pet chupacabra, Chalupa.” Keith sighed again. This was not how he wanted to introduce his pet to Chel. There had been a speech and an introduction all planned out. Now that was all out the window and this was not anywhere near the ideal situation he had plotted. “Your – WHAT?!” Chel boggled at the thought. Aliens she was used to by now. Their strange creatures, she was also used to. But being told that something else she had thought was only an urban legend was pushing it. If there were chupacabra, what else could be out there?

  1. I’m still saying, that the critter looks like an Archaeopteryx…or something closely related to it. Though those fangs are atypical, I’ll admit.

  2. She hangs out with aliens and talking animals on a daily basis but finds a chupacabra weird lol.

  3. “Next you’ll be telling me that there really are alligators in the sewers.”

    “Well, they’re not alligators, no…”
