They sat in silence. Chel stared at the ocean waves steadily coming inland and crashing against the low rocks just below the ones she and Lexx were sitting on. Lexx had brought her back outside to clear her mind, and after a very thorough search of the area, joined her on the rocks. It was nice and calming, but did very little to fade the disturbing events from earlier out of Chel's mind. She could not think of anything more frightening than aliens out to kill her, for real. She was worried to a point that she was having a difficult time even comprehending it. It was too much. Lexx watched Chel curiously. After his initial burst of emotion, he had contained himself and steadied his nerves. Chel's fears were weighing heavily in the air and over the relay. Lexx was not sure how to handle it.

  1. Take her into your arms. Hug her. Kiss her. Let her know, that she’s safe with you. Worked for the cavemen. Still works today.

    1. Except that she is known to get even more nervous when he pushes toasted the kissing stage…and I’m sure she doesn’t want to feel the need to be pushing him away herself right now…

Also, think maybe she’ll have a starting point to understanding how he feels with the being challenged often and the impending Gauntlet (whenever he tells her) now?
